Cut from eastern red cedar trees that were growing in Central Texas, these live edge boards are perfectly suited for use in rustic craft projects or as a set of natural looking shelves.
The top faces of each slab were sanded and the top front and side edges were slightly rounded. Several coats of a clear acrylic glaze coating were then applied to the tops as well as to the front and sides. The rear edges have been sanded smooth and the bottom faces of the boards were left in a rough cut condition. These surfaces were not coated with the acrylic glaze.
Each of the eastern red cedar pieces measures approximately 23-1/2 inches in length and they are 1 inch thick. The width varies between 9-1/2 and 11 inches.
The pieces have a combined weight of just under 9 pounds and shipping to any address within the United States via Priority Mail is included in the listing price.
