A wide range of wood types, colors and natural shapes can be found in this assortment of wood slices. The variety makes this a perfect choice for many crafts, including those wanting to create a wood mosaic.
Though the exact mix will vary from order to order, the slices shown in the listing photographs are representative of the wood types that can be expected. Tree species that may be part of any given order include elm, yaupon holly, Arizona ash, mesquite, oak and red cedar.
The edges of slices taken from trees having loose bark (most notably red cedar) may be sanded to remove loose material. All pieces will have diameters ranging between 1 and 2-1/4 inches and will be 1/4 inch thick (+/- 1/8 inch).
These are available in orders of 50 or 100 pieces and shipping to any address within the United States via Priority Mail is included in the listing prices.

Unfortunately, we lack the certifications required by the California Department Of Agriculture that would allow us to ship live plants to those residing in the state of California.

A majority of the wood pieces were smaller than I anticipated, but I came up with a new use for them. All pieces were well sanded and packaged securely. Would purchase again.

Thank you for these, and the extra, and the hollow log :) They have been smelling terrific, and my kids were immediately excited to stack the tree slices and play with them (the kid are almost 6 and 2). I love how many different types of wood this contains, and the varied look of bark, as well as the variation in diameter from 1" to over 3", it seems :)
