Vintage Italian Brevettato Leather Encased Knight's Helmet Decanter, Free US Shipping

This decorative decanter was produced in Italy betwen the late 1960's and early 1970's. A green glass bottle was covered in hand-tooled leather and was decorated with brass accents (lion masks, diamond shaped nail heads and fruit vines). This piece has all of the original brass adornments in place and the plastic bottle top is also firmly encased within the leather cover. The leather shows minor wear in several locations, however this example is in better condition than the majority of those that can be found.
The item stands 12 inches tall, it is approximately 7-1/2 inches wide and 5-1/2 inches deep. The bottom bears the mark of the manufacturer.
