Euphorbia ammak cristata, or Crested African Candelabra, are rare succulents that are difficult to come by in the size being made available in this listing. As the plant grows older, upright stalks will continue to emerge from the deeply ribbed and twisted mounds adding to the plants already unusual appearance. Despite their rarity this succulent is easy to grow.
All sides of the exact plant being offered are shown in the listing photos. It measures 8-1/2 x 8 inches in diameter and stands up to 18 inches above the soil. This specimen was photographed growing in a 9 inch diameter pot.
This well rooted plant will be shipped with a small portion of the soil however the pot will not be included.
These may be grown in an area that receives bright indirect sunlight, partial shade or full sun. They require soil that drains very well and should only be watered when the soil has dried completely. They can withstand very brief periods of freezing temperatures, however temperatures below 40 degrees should be avoided. This succulent will not survive if exposed to anything below 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
