Cut from eastern red cedar trees that were growing in Texas, these live edge boards are perfectly suited for use in rustic craft, decorative and woodworking projects.
All of the material in this listing has been air dried to preserve the natural coloration and cedar scent. They have faces with a rough cut finish and have not been sanded or planed. After the bark was removed from the long sides of the planks, these edges were sanded and slightly rounded. These are thinner pieces that have a thickness of approximately 7/16 of an inch. The listing photographs provide examples of the available material, however each plank will have a unique pattern and mix of color.
The aromatic eastern red cedar planks are available in several different lengths.
The 12 inch long pieces have widths falling between 6 and 7-1/2 inches. Each order of 12 inch planks will include 5 pieces.
The 24 inch long pieces are available in widths of 6 to 7-1/2 inches or those that are between 8 and 10 inches wide. Each order of 24 inch long planks will contain 5 pieces.
The 36 inch long planks are all between 8 and 10 inches wide and may be ordered individually or in sets containing 5 pieces.
The final listing photograph shows examples of planks slightly different than those described above. These are pieces that only have a live edge on one side and are available at a discounted price. They are rough cut, the long sides have been sanded and they are approximately 7/16 of an inch thick. They are thinner when compared to the planks having two live edges and measure between 4 and 7 inches wide. They are available in 12 or 24 inch lengths, with 5 pieces being contained in each order.
