The Mexican fencepost cactus (Pachycereus marginatus) is a succulent that can grow to a height of 12 feet, with stems of up to 4 inches in diameter. These are very easy to grow and can be used to add a little variety to any succulent planter, terrarium or rock garden.
One or two plants in your choice of two sizes will be included with each order. Plants representative of all that are available are shown in the listing photographs. The smaller cacti stand 2-1/2 to 3 inches above the soil and are shown in their 2 inch black containers. The larger plants are between 6-1/2 and 7 inches tall and were photographed in their 4 inch red containers. All are very well rooted and will be shipped with a small amount of soil, however pots will not be included.
The ribs of this southern Mexico native have white margins that give it a striped appearance and make it one of the more attractive cacti. It is hardy to around 20 degrees Fahrenheit, should be planted in well draining soil and watered very infrequently.
We cannot ship these to addresses within the states of California, Hawaii or to any of the US island territories. Shipping to any other destination within the US is included in the listing prices.
