This well preserved piece of petrified wood was collected from a spot in East Texas. It is between 40 and 50 million years old and would make a great display specimen. The blend of textures and colors gives the specimen visual appeal, with an insect burrow and line of chalcedony completing the look.

The piece has a length of 11-3/4 inches and a width of up to 3-1/2 inches. It stands up to 3 inches tall and weighs 4 pounds, 9 ounces.
