These unusual succulents, commonly referred to as Cucumber Cactus and Veld Grape, are edible, medicinal plants that are very easy to grow. Adding as much as six feet to their length in a single growing season, they are typically grown in hanging baskets or allowed to climb on a supporting structure.
The listing photos show a portion of the plants being made available. Each of the one gallon containers hold 5 or 6 individually rooted stems, with the majority being 18 inches or longer. The contents of one of these or similar pots will be included with each order. The second listing photograph shows a typical order of these plants. They will ship with a very small amount of soil and the pots will not be included.
Grow these in a location that receives several hours of direct sunlight per day and water them once their well draining soil has dried. Although they may survive colder temperatures, they should be protected from anything below 45 degrees Fahrenheit when possible.
