This interesting petrified wood piece displays well reserved details, features a large crystalized area and additional veins of chalcedony. The tree fossil is between 40 and 50 million years old and was collected from an east Texas location.

This is a larger piece with a length of 11-1/2 inches and a width of up to 11-3/4 inches. It is 6 inches wide at the thickest point and weighs 11 pounds, 6 ounces.
