Pincushion Euphorbia, Euphorbia Enopla - Free US Shipping

Euphorbia enopla (Pincushion Euphorbia, Milk Barrel) is an unusual and striking plant having long red to purple spines emerging from a ribbed, green stem. These are native to South Africa and are very easy to grow and keep healthy. The plants in this listing are much taller than those that are typically found and are offered here in a variety of growing forms.

The listing photos show two sides of the exact plants being made available, each identifiable by their corresponding letters. All are rooted and were photographed growing in their 3-1/2 inch pots. Here are the details for each:

Plant "A": A plant having one stem and 1 arm. Height of 7-3/4 inches.

Plant "B": A plant with a single stem, one developed arm and two arms beginning to emerge. Height of 7 inches.

Plant "C": A single stemmed plant with two larger arms. Height of 7-1/2 inches.

Plants "D": A single plant with three stems that range in height from 6 to 7-1/2 inches.

Plant "E": A plant having one stem and an 11 arm cluster at the top. The stem stands 5-1/2 inches above the soil. Overall height, including arms is 7-1/2 inches.

These will be shipped without their soil or pots.

There are only a few things necessary to keep these low maintenance succulents at their best. They should be planted in a soil that drains very well and should be allowed to completely dry before watering again. Bright indirect light or direct morning through midday sunlight is important, however direct late day sun may scorch the plant. Although they may survive colder temperatures, exposure to anything below 50 degrees should be limited.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not use heat packs and we are not responsible for damage related to the plants being exposed to cold temperatures.
