These larger pieces of honey calcite are beautiful when viewed under normal lighting, but the vivid mix of colors that can be seen when they are exposed to short wave ultraviolet light is truly amazing!
Multiple sides of the four pieces that are available individually are shown in the listing photos. An inexpensive LED flashlight (18 Watts/395 nm wavelength) was used to illuminate them for the ultraviolet images.
Piece "A" measures 3-1/2 x 2 x 1-1/2 inches and weighs 7-1/2 ounces.
Piece "B" is 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches and has a weight of 1 pound.
Piece "C" measures 5 x 3 x 2-3/4 inches and weighs 2 pounds.
Piece "D" weighs 2-1/2 pounds and is 5 x 4 x 2-1/2 inches.
All measurements were rounded slightly.
Please keep in mind that these will only display the fluorescent colors shown in the photographs when illuminated by a ultraviolet light source similar to the one mentioned above. They do not "glow in the dark" and the colors may be different when exposed to light having a wavelength other than 395 nm.
