Large Easter Lily Cactus Cluster - Free US Shipping

Sorry, this item has sold.

Echinopsis oxygona or Echinopsis eyriesii, also known as the Easter Lily Cactus and Sea-Urchin Cactus, is a succulent native to South America. These plants are best known for two things: The number of offsets (baby plants) they produce and the large white, pink or lavender blooms that appear in early spring. An example of these flowers can be seen in the final listing photo. Each individual cactus can grow to have a height and diameter of 8 inches and clusters may reach several feet across.

The listing photographs show multiple sides of the exact cluster being made available growing in a 6 inch pot. There are at least 37 offsets in addition to the central stem.

The plant will be shipped as shown with soil and pot. Even though it will be packaged to minimize the possibility, a portion of the offsets may become separated while in transit. These will root independently very easily if simply placed on top of the soil.

Like most cacti, the Easter Lily is very easy to grow and will perform well if a few simple guidelines are followed. The planting soil must drain freely and, although the Easter lily cactus enjoys more water than other cacti, the roots must not be subjected to prolonged wet periods. It can withstand cooler temperatures, even frost, for short periods of time, however they will thrive if kept between 50 an 95 degrees. Direct morning through midday sunlight is ideal and they may scorch if exposed to direct late day sun.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not use heat packs and are not responsible for damage related to the plant being exposed to cold temperatures.
