After being collected directly from the branches of post oak trees growing on our Texas ranch in October of 2023, these acorns were baked for several hours to sterilize and dry them. All have naturally attached caps in place and lack the holes caused by insects that are common in many acorns. These would be an excellent choice for use as vase filler, potpourri or for a variety of other projects and crafts.
The acorns are generally between 5/8 and 3/4 of an inch in length and have caps that measure 3/8 of an inch in diameter. A very small portion are slightly smaller or larger than this size. Individual nuts as well as small clusters can be found in the material. The listing photographs show acorns representative of all that are available.
Each cup by volume will contain approximately 175 acorns and they are being offered in your choice of 1, 2 or 4 cups. As a few may lose their caps while in transit, we always send extra pieces with every order.

Unfortunately, we lack the certifications required by the California Department Of Agriculture that would allow us to ship live plants to those residing in the state of California.
