Collected from conifers growing at the higher elevations of Utah in early October 2023, this resin is an eclectic mix harvested from a variety of trees including pinyon pine, Norway spruce, bristlecone pine, Douglas fir and juniper. The rich aroma produced by this wild crafted resin makes it ideal for using in incense, salves or creams.
Each order will contain 8 ounces of resin, in your choice of the hard or soft variety. Hard resin will consist of individual pieces of varying size. To make the soft resin more manageable, it was heated for a short time at a low temperature. The semi-melted resin was then allowed to cool and cut into larger pieces. The soft resin variety is still very wet and will be shipped in parchment paper. The listing photographs show two 8 ounce examples of both resin types. This is natural and unrefined resin and may include very small quantities of bark and other naturally occurring impurities.
