These petrified wood pieces were preserved in remarkable detail and were all found in the same East Texas location. They are visually stunning and display a wide range of colors including shades of red, orange, white, black and brown.
Multipole sides of the exact specimens to be included are shown in the listing photographs. At first glance these appear to be a sections of fresh wood, however these fossilized tree sections are between 40 and 50 million years old.
The six pieces were washed and scrubbed after being collected and have a combined weight in excess of 23 pounds. The following numbers detail the longest, widest and thickest measurements for each in inches as well as their individual weight.
