These larger wood slices were cut from a single hollow oak log. Their natural cavities make them ideal for use in a number of craft projects.
Any residual loose material found within the hollow portion of the log has been removed, however these pieces are otherwise in their natural state and are untreated. All are approximately 8 inches in diameter, however may measure up to 9 inches depending on where the measurement is taken. They are roughly 1-1/2 inches wide and only fluctuate +/- 1/8 of an inch within a given piece. Although cracks can be seen in the slices, all are structurally stable and the bark is also firmly attached.
The slices are available individually or in sets containing two pieces. The listing photos show both sides of the exact slices that are available. They are identifiable using the letters found in the lower right-hand corners of the photos.
