The 12 pieces of petrified wood in this listing display various shades of red as their dominant colors. All were found within the Yegua Formation, a 35 million year old geologic layer in Texas known for producing high quality petrified wood.

The pieces were washed and lightly scrubbed after they were collected. The largest piece in this set measures 6-3/4 x 2-1/2 x 2 inches and the smallest is 3 x 1 x 3/4 inches. The group has a combined weight of 5-3/4 pounds and the listing photos show multiple sides of each piece.

Shipping to any address within the United States via Priority Mail is included in the listing price.
