These wood slices were cut from Eastern red cedar harvested in Central Texas. They were allowed to dry for two months and have a moisture content between 4 and 5 percent, meaning that future cracking should not occur.
The listing photographs show a portion of the pieces being made available. The bark has been removed and the sides were randomly sanded to increase visual appeal in the event they will be viewed from that angle. All of the slices are between 1-1/2 and 2-1/4 inches in diameter and there are two different thickness options to choose from.
Thin slices will have a thickness between 1/4 and 1/2 of an inch, while the thicker slices will measure between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch.
Your choice of 12 or 24 slices will be included with each order and shipping to any destination with the USA is included in the listing prices.
