Petrified Wood Tumbling Rough, High Silica Content - US Shipping Included

Collected from several Central Texas locations, this colorful petrified wood has been sorted to only include hard material with a higher silica content. Thin flakes of petrified wood have been eliminated and all of these pieces will have a thickness of 1/3 of an inch or greater.

There are many possible uses for this material, but all of the pieces are selected with tumbling in mind. The final two listing photos show a an example of the material dry and wet. The stones were photographed wet for all other pictures to show their tumbling potential.

This raw material is being offered in four different sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

Each pound of small size petrified wood that is ordered will contain 10 to 14 pieces, there will be 6 to 10 pieces for each pound of medium petrified wood, 5 to 8 pieces per pound for large and every pound of extra large will be 4 to 6 pieces.

Photos two through five show examples of 3 pounds of the material in a given size. The sixth listing photo shows a side-by-side comparison of the stone sizes that can be expected for each option.
