The wood slices in this listing were created from the knee of a bald cypress tree. These unusual pieces have completely dried and are ready to be used as part of a craft project.
There are two size options available, with the listing photos showing the exact pieces that are available.
The larger slices are available in a three piece set. They measure 10-3/8 x 4-1/2, 8-3/8 x 4-7/8 and 8 x 4-5/8 inches. All are between 3/4 and 1 inch thick.
The smaller slices are offered in a seven piece set. The largest measures 6 x 4 inches and the smallest is 4 x 3 inches. They they have thicknesses that fall between approximately 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch.
The faces of all were sanded after being allowed to air dry for two weeks. With the exception of two areas found on the larger slices, the bark was left in place and is well adhered to the slices. These are surprisingly light for their size and are reminiscent of balsa wood.
Shipping to any address within the United States is included in the listing prices.
