Cereus forbesii monstrose, commonly known as "Ming Thing", is a naturally occurring cactus that is native to Argentina and Bolivia. Growing to a height of up to 12 inches, this plant has a bluish-green color and has a mounding club like form.
A portion of the plants being made available in this listing are shown in the photographs. Smaller plants measure approximately 2 inches in diameter and are shown in their 3-1/2 inch diameter black pots. larger plants are approximately 3 inches in diameter and were photographed growing in their 4 inch diameter pots. These are all well rooted and healthy plants that would add interest to any succulent collection. They will be shipped with a minimal amount of soil, and the pots will not be included.
C. forbesii monstrose grows well in lower light situations and should not be exposed to direct summer sunlight. They require well draining soil and only need to be watered after the soil has completely dried. These cacti are not cold hardy and should be kept at temperatures above 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
