This geode grew naturally within a container of molten bismuth metal and displays a variety of crystal structures. The crystals are primarily gold and most are accented by shades of pink, purple or blue.
The exact bismuth crystal cluster being offered is shown in the listing photographs. All photos were taken in indirect sunlight and, as with all bismuth crystals, the colors displayed will change slightly based of the type of lighting and viewing angle.
The piece has a height of 1 inch, measures 3-1/2 inches long and is 3 inches wide. This metallic geode weighs 13 ounces (368 grams) and the bottom and edges have been lightly sanded to smooth the surfaces.
