The seashells offered in this listing were collected from several different Florida beaches, the assortment containing a variety of shell types, colors and textures. These are smaller shells that could be used as part of a variety of craft projects or simply displayed as they are.
Kitten paw shells, jingle shells, shark-eye moon shells and baby's ear shells are a few of the types that can be found in the mix that is predominantly comprised of clam type shells (coquina, dosina, venus, scallop, etc.). The individual shells measure between 1/8 and 1-1/2 inches with the majority being approximately 1/2 inch in size.
After being gathered, these shells were cleaned, sanitized and sun dried. Complete and lightly damaged shells account for well over 99.5% of this material, with seashell and sand dollar debris accounting for the balance.
A random selection of what is being made available can be seen in the listing photos. The final listing photograph shows one cup of the material along with a quarter for reference. Your choice of one or two cups of the mix will be included with each order.
