The diverse assortment of wood slices in this listing makes them the perfect choice for many crafts, including those wanting to create a wood mosaic. Being cut in the summer of 2024 and allowed to dry naturally, these slices are unlike fresh material from other sources that can split and check as they dry.
Each of the five sets being offered contain a mix that may include red cedar, aged red cedar, several species of oak, yaupon holly, elm and mountain cedar.
The slices in sets A, B and C have a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch and are thinner than the 3/8 to 3/4 inch thick slices in sets D and E. The listing photographs show the exact pieces included in each set.
Thicker:
Set A: 25 Pieces, 2-1/2 to 4 inches in diameter, 3/8 to 3/4 inch thick.
Set B: 50 Pieces, 1 to 2-3/4 inches in diameter, 3/8 to 3/4 inch thick.
Thinner:
Set C: 50 Pieces, 1 to 3-3/4 inches in diameter, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Set D: 100 Pieces, 1 to 2-1/2 inches in diameter, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
